We hand pick accommodation so it is as unique as our holidays, to give you an authentic experience of the destinations you visit and that suits the style of walking holiday you are taking.
Whether you have chosen a single or a multi-centre holiday, hotel accommodation will be in a single or twin bedded rooms with a shower and WC. Each holiday description gives accommodation information specific to that tour. There will always be exceptions with regard to things such as room size, fixtures and fittings and views.

What will the accommodation be like?
In Europe we usually select small, comfortable, family-run hotels that enjoy accommodating our small groups, but this can vary depending on your holiday destination.
In cities, you will stay in larger hotels and, conversely, more rural areas offer much simpler accommodation. For example, for higher-grade walking holidays like hutting, accommodation is largely in mountain huts where facilities are very basic. Similarly, on a trekking holiday you will be sleeping in tents most of the time.
On long haul destinations like South Africa and New Zealand you will often find the accommodation to be of a particularly high standard, which makes these holidays even better value!
Where an official rating system operates we will state this (although local ratings may not necessarily relate to British systems) and with all the accommodation we offer we are rigorous in ensuring all comply with local fire, health and safety regulations. We cannot, however, guarantee that these will meet the standards expected in the UK.
