We offer a fabulous range of walking holidays all over the world and for all experience levels, from easier walking and sightseeing holidays to trekking or hutting in more challenging terrain or mountainous landscapes.
Is a walking holiday for me?
The stresses and strains of modern living rarely leave us chance to enjoy the outdoors, so a walking holiday offers an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Natural exercise in the fresh air, in wonderful locations, ensures you return home relaxed, revitalised and energised – and that’s what a holiday should be all about.
How we walk
Our small, friendly and informal walking tour groups generally consist of 12-20 people, who walk under the guidance of our qualified leaders. Our walking holiday itineraries are flexible and fun, showing you the best of the area by foot and taking in the local sights and sounds, cultures and contrasts.
Our walking grades explained
Whether you’re an experienced walker or not, our wide range of easier to adventurous walking grades ensures that there is something for everyone.

Walking holiday types
Some of our walking holidays have itineraries that combine the pleasure of walking with other outdoor interests, such as city walking, flowers and wildlife, sightseeing or cooking. You can also choose cruising and walking around the UK or Europe or for those who love to take to the slopes, we offer a number of cross country skiing holidays as well as a downhill option.
If you are after a more adventurous walking holiday take a look at our Pioneer collection, or perhaps our range of Great Journeys, which are usually longer holidays, covering a wider range of landscape and often more than one country.
